At Cook Inlet Counseling, we strive to provide an understanding and supportive environment for healing from trauma and substance use by building internal wellness and connection for adults and youth. We provide individual assessment sessions to identify substance use or mental health experiences that will benefit from therapeutic support. Therapeutic care can occur individually through telehealth or in-person, in therapeutic groups, or both, covering outpatient and intensive outpatient levels of care. Our case manager works to provide personalized care that supports connection to services and agencies throughout our community and state, accessing grant funding or specialized care, including resources for people who choose medication-assisted treatment support.
We provide innovative treatment such as Trauma therapy, including the use of Brainspotting, a powerful, focused treatment that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation, and a variety of other challenging symptoms.
